Message from the Representative
Not just to watch—but to experience Japanese culture with all five senses.
Our initiative, “Japanese Cultural and Traditional Performing Arts Experiences,” goes beyond simple entertainment or tourism. We believe it is an important endeavor to pass on Japan’s “spiritual heritage” to future generations.
Traditional arts such as Noh, Kabuki, traditional Japanese dance, tea ceremony, and flower arrangement have been refined over hundreds of years, embodying a unique system of aesthetics and etiquette. By not only watching but also experiencing these arts, both international visitors and Japanese people themselves can gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s cultural essence.
- The harmony of stillness and movement
- The beauty of ma (space and timing)
- The spirit of hospitality
Through these experiences, we can rediscover values that are gradually being lost.
Furthermore, from the perspective of cultural tourism, this initiative also contributes to rediscovering the unique local culture of Fukagawa—once a vibrant center of arts and entertainment during the Edo period. It helps restore pride among local residents and inspires younger generations to carry on these traditions.
We take great pride in our project, JEAE – Japanese Entertainment And Experience, as an initiative that embodies multiple values: the preservation of traditional culture, the revitalization of local communities, and the enrichment of the human spirit.
We have already welcomed many guests from Japan and abroad. Feedback from our visitors includes:
From Japanese guests:
- “I’m proud to be Japanese.”
- “For the first time, I truly feel proud of my country and myself.”
From international guests:
- “It wasn’t just a show—the in-depth explanations deepened my understanding.”
- “I was deeply moved to discover a culture that has preserved such long-standing traditions.”
- “I now understand why Japanese people are so kind.”
We are grateful to have received five-star feedback from all of our guests to date.
We will continue to move forward with humility, dedication, and creativity, striving to offer even more meaningful experiences.
