Usually, parlor games with a geisha are exclusive to those introduced by regular patrons. At each table, one geisha serves as an attendant, guiding you through traditional games like “tou-sen-kyo” and “konpira fune-fune,” complete with explanations to ensure you enjoy the experience.
The venue is a sacred shrine! A mystical atmosphere is created.
With a history spanning approximately 400 years, Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine is known as the most powerful spiritual spot in Edo. The venue is the shrine‘s ceremonial hall, which is generally not open to the public, and has been specially adorned with seasonal decorations to create a rare and sacred atmosphere.
Prestigious Tsujitome’s Luxury Kaiseki O-Edo Zukushi Course
Coming from the prestigious name in Kaiseki cuisine, “Tsujitome,” which has been around since the Meiji era, this luxurious Kaiseki experience places great emphasis on the “harmony” of seasonal ingredients, utensils, and the chef’s thoughtful consideration. Each table will be attended by a dedicated geisha responsible for serving food and beverages.

On stage, a lecture will be presented on traditional performing arts techniques, which will be demonstrated later.

Authentic performances by former Kabuki actors and Shinnai Joruri. The stage will additionally feature the intangible cultural heritage of “kiyari,” or wood carving, offering an insightful glimpse into Japanese culture and history for the intellectually curious.

Japanese Folk Dance: Hosokawa Chiho Yuka, Branch Iemoto of the Hosokawa Master of the Bando School of Dance,Shinnai Joruri, Chitose-ha, natori “Fujimatsu Tsurukame”.
She has 40 years of dance experience and 20 years as a master of Nihon buyo (traditional Japanese dance).
He has performed at the National Theatre, Asakusa Public Hall, Meiji-za Theater, and many other venues. He is well versed in a variety of genres including minyo buyo, shin buyo, classical nihon buyo, and shamisen performance.
